Assisted Living is designed for senior adults who value their independent lifestyle but may need some additional assistance in daily activities such as dressing, bathing or medication management.
Assisted Living communities are designed to nurture the independent spirit while assisting with the physical activities of daily living. Services provided include bathing, grooming, dressing and a wellness program. Some states also allow Assisted Living to offer medication assistance and/or wellness reminders.

We will perform an initial assessment to determine if your loved one will be a good fit for one of our assisted living.
Unlike big-box facilities, we offer an all-inclusive monthly rate ranging from $4,500 to $5,500, depending on room selection. Our pricing does not increase based on the level of care, and there are no additional fees for essential services such as laundry, housekeeping, or daily activities. We are committed to providing high-quality, personalized care at a significantly lower cost than most other assisted living and senior care homes in Lansing and the surrounding areas.
Country Acres Adult Care Home is a licensed assisted living and memory care facility in Michigan, authorized by LARA (Licensing and Regulatory Affairs). We are licensed for 12 beds and specialize in providing care for aging individuals and those with Alzheimer’s or other memory-related conditions.
Our home offers a comfortable, safe, and supportive environment designed to meet the unique needs of our residents. Because of our focus on memory care, we also refer to our facility as Country Acres Assisted Living and Memory Care Home.
Alzheimer’s is one form of dementia that impacts memory, cognitive abilities and behavior. We proudly partner with the Alzheimer’s Association nationwide and offer best-in-class memory care programs.
Yes! Those with memory loss or moderate, non-aggressive dementia are also well suited to a more intimate “home-assisted” environment. Residents easily become familiar with the small setting, consistent staff and a limited number of other residents around them.
We are 100% private pay, however, if you have a long-term care insurance plan, we will gladly help you complete all the paperwork needed to get reimbursed each month.
We are always looking for ways to improve our menu! We encourage feedback from residents and their families! We have a seasonal menu that rotates every three weeks. We offer plenty of alternatives in the event your loved one does not want what is being served. We will also tailor our menu to each resident’s needs.
No problem! we assist residents with medication management. Work with health care provider or nurse. We can accommodate almost any medication regimen.
Yes! We work with several medical providers in the community who are happy to come to our homes to see residents. These include a nurse practitioner, med-pass nurse, podiatrist, dentist, home health, hospice, wound care and PT/OT/ST.
The entire home is professionally decorated, including the bedrooms, but residents can bring their own furniture and change the décor. We will be happy to provide all room furnishings if needed.
We are registered with the American Seniors Housing Association (ASHA). ASHA hosts “Where You Live Matters”, a senior living resource that addresses everything from selecting the right living situation to making the transition to your new home.
